SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS (2022-23)

INTER APS COMPETITIONS

•  Western Command Inter APS Table Tennis Championship (Boys & Girls) Inter school APS Table Tennis competition (Boys& Girls) was conducted at APS Jammu Cantt on 14-16 July 2022. Our school secured RUNNER UP
•  Western Command Inter APS Badminton Championship (Boys & Girls) Inter school APS Badminton championship (Boys & Girls)was held at Police Ground Indoor Badminton Hall on (21-23 July) 2022
•  Western Command Inter APS Basketball Championship (Boys & Girls) Inter School APS Basketball championship (Boys & Girls) was held at APS Ratnuchak on 26 July - 02August 2022.Girls secured 3rd position.
•  Western Command Inter APS Hockey Championship(Boys & Girls) Inter School APS Hockey championship (Boys) was held on (22-25 August) 2022. Our school team was the Runner up.

INTER SCHOOL ZONAL LEVEL:

•  Inter school Volleyball Championship (U-17 Girls) held at Govt. H.S.S Bhalwal on 05- 07 May 2022. 08(Girls) were selected to participate in Inter Zonal District level Tournament.
•  Inter School Chess Competition U-14/17 (Boys) was held at G.H.S Bhalwal on 05-07 May 2022. (02) Boys were selected for Inter Zonal District level.
•  Inter School Wrestling Competition U-17 held at GHSS Bhawal on 05-07 May 2022. (Dishant Singh Bhau) selected for Inter Zonal District level.
•  Inter school Zonal level Badmintion U-17 held at GHSS Bhawal on 05-07 May 2022. 02 (Boys) selected for Inter Zonal District level.
•  Inter school Volleyball championship (U-19) Girls held at Cambridge International school Purkhoo on 22-26 Aug 2022. 09 (Girls) players were selected to participate in Inter Zonal District level.
•  Inter school Football Competition U- 19 (Boys) held at Cambridge International school Purkhoo on 22nd -26th Aug.2022.
•  Inter school Football competition U-19(Girls) held at Cambridge International school Purkhoo on 24-26 Aug 2022.08 (Girls) were selected to participate in Inter Zonal District level.

INTER ZONAL DISTRICT LEVEL:

•  Inter Zonal District level Volleyball championship U-17 (Girls) held at Govt. High Secondary School Domana on18th -22nd May 2022. Our school team secured 1st Position and 6 girls selected for District Level.
•  Inter School District level Rope Skipping Competition held at Govt. Model Middle School, Satwari on 26th May -28th May 2022. (4 Boys & 5 Girls participated, 1 Boy selected for District level).
•  Inter School District level Chess Competition held at Budgam (U-17/19 Boys & Girls) Organized by DYSS Kashmir on 09-14 March 2022.
•  Dist. Level Volleyball Competition held at Budgam (U-19 Girls) organized by DYSS Kashmir on 09-14 March 2022.
•  Volleyball UT level Competition (U-19) held at Khel Gaon Nagrota RUNNER UP (Neha Sharma) 17th -19th March 2022.
•  Inter Zonal District Level Wrestling Championship (U-17 Boys) held at Jammu University organised by DYSS Jammu from 27th-28th Aug 2022.
•  Inter Zonal District Level Badminton Championship (U-17 Boys) held at Jammu University organised by DYSS Jammu from 27th-28th Aug 2022.
•  Inter Zonal District Level Chess Competition held at Khel Gaon Nagrota U-19(Boys &Girls) organized by DYSS Jammu from 02nd Sept.-06th Sept.2022 .Both Ayushmann Koul & Deveshi Tiwari secured 1st position.
•  Inter District UT level Championship organised by DYSS Jammu on 2-3rd Feb 2022.Shimani Choudhary (U-19) won silver and Anirudh Sharma(U-17 Boys) won Bronze medal.
•  Inter Zonal District level Volleyball championship U-17 (Girls) held at Govt. High Secondary School Domana on18th -22nd May 2022. Our school team secured 1st Position and 6 girls selected for District Level.
•  Inter Zonal District Level Gymnastic Championship (U-14)held at M.A Stadium on 8th Sept. -10th Sept. 2022.
•  Inter Zonal District level Football championship U-19 (Girls) held at Khel Gaon Nagrota on 09 Sep 2022. Our school team was the RUNNERS UP.
•  Inter Zonal District Level Hockey Championship (U-19 Boys) held at Greenfield Gandhi Nagar organised by DYSS Jammu
•  Inter School District Level Handball Championship (U-14/17/19 Girls) held at Sanantan Dharma Sabha, Rehari Jammu organised by DYSS Jammu from 23rd-24th Aug 2022

SAHODAYA COMPETITIONS:

•  Sahodaya Table Tennis school complex was held at APS Jammu Cantt on 290ct-01Nov 2022.

DISTRICT LEVEL COMPETITIONS:

•  11th J &K District Shooting championship was held at Aim 10x Shooting Academy,Talab Tillo on ( 07-08 Sep) 2022. Shimani Chaudhary secured Gold & Anirudh secured Silver.
•  All India Kumar Surendra singh Inter school championship was held at Asansol West Bengal from 18-24 Sep 2022.Shimani Chaudhary won Gold Medal & Anirudh Sharma won Silver medal.
•  7th District level Handball championship (Boys &Girls) was held at Shastri Nagar ground on (30 Sep-02Oct )2022 organised by J&K Handball Association. 5 Gold, 5 Silver & 3 Bronze Medal.
•  Jammu Dist. Kho- Kho championship (Boys/Girls) was held at Green playfield (Gandhi nagar)on (29-30 Oct )2022 organised by J&K Kho Kho Association. Supriya secured silver Medal.
•  21st Jammu District sport Climbing Championship held at Sprawling Buds ICSE School Bantalab from 05-06 Nov 2022 organised by J&K Mountaineering Association.
•  Dist. level Weightlifting championship was held at BANA SINGH Stadium on 19-20 Nov 2022 organised by J&K Weightlifting Association.
•  Dist. level Gymnastics Association held at M.A Stadium on 19-20 Nov 2022 organised by J&K Gymnastics Association.
•  21st Jammu District sport Climbing Championship held at Sprawling Buds ICSE School Bantalab from 05-06 Nov 2022 organised by J&K Mountaineering Association.

STATE LEVEL COMPETITION:

•  State level Basketball championship U-14 (Boys/Girls) held at M.A Stadium on 01-02 NOV 2022 organised by J&K Basketball Association. Shavai & Mannat secured 1st Position.
•  11th J&K UT Shooting Championship was held at Mission Olympic shooting Academy, Jammu Shimani Choudhary secured Gold and Anirudh secured Bronze.

NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION:

•  23rd RSFI National Rope Skipping championship was held at New Delhi on (17-20 Oct) 2022. Shivang secured 3rd position.
•  National Level Karate Championship competition held at Kurakshetra, Haryana (Aditya Rajput of VII D) from 26th -31st Aug.2022.
•  65th National Shooting Championship held at Trivandrum Kerala from 20th Nov- 9th Dec.2022. Shimani Choudhary & Anirudh Sharma qualify for renowed shot certificate and Shimani Choudhary qualified for Indian shooting team trial.
•  CBSE Cluster School Games Shooting championship held at Sonipat Haryana from 03rd -06th Dec. 20222. Shimani Choudhary secured 3rd position and selected for CBSE National.
